Terms of Service
1. About CLIPWRK
CLIPWRK is an online marketplace that helps content creators find short-form video clippers and editors. Creators can post opportunities, review applicants, collaborate in workspaces, and use supported payment features. Clippers can create profiles, apply to opportunities, communicate with creators, submit work, and receive eligible payouts.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, or use CLIPWRK for unlawful activity.
Users under 18 may need permission from a parent or legal guardian and may be restricted from paid work, contracts, or payout features where required by law or a payment provider. Users must meet any minimum-age requirements imposed by third-party services they connect to CLIPWRK.
3. Marketplace activity
Creators are responsible for clearly describing jobs, rates, deliverables, deadlines, and usage expectations. Clippers are responsible for accurately representing their experience and delivering work they have the right to provide. CLIPWRK may remove misleading, abusive, fraudulent, duplicate, or unlawful listings and accounts.
4. Payments and fees
Paid transactions may be processed by Stripe or other supported payment providers. CLIPWRK may charge marketplace fees, subscriptions, or optional listing-boost fees as shown before purchase. Payment-provider processing fees may also apply. CLIPWRK Pro may reduce CLIPWRK marketplace fees, but does not necessarily eliminate third-party processing fees.
Where CLIPWRK supports held marketplace payments, release may depend on job status, accepted deliverables, payout eligibility, fraud checks, disputes, or other safeguards.
5. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you own. By uploading, linking, or submitting content through CLIPWRK, you confirm that you have the rights needed to use and share it for the relevant job. Ownership and usage rights for finished clips should be agreed between the creator and clipper as part of the job.
6. Connected social accounts
CLIPWRK may allow you to connect services such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or Twitch through their official authorization systems. Connecting an account allows CLIPWRK to access only the information permitted by the scopes you approve and the platform's API rules.
7. Prohibited use
- Fraud, scams, chargeback abuse, or payment manipulation.
- Spam, automated abuse, fake engagement, or misleading performance claims.
- Harassment, threats, illegal content, or infringement of another person's rights.
- Attempts to bypass security, account restrictions, platform fees, or provider rules.
8. Third-party services
CLIPWRK relies on services such as Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and social-platform APIs. Those services have their own terms and policies. Availability of a feature can change if a provider changes, limits, or removes access.
9. Suspension and termination
CLIPWRK may restrict or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with law or provider requirements, or enforce these Terms.
10. Service availability
CLIPWRK is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep the service reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every listing, applicant, connected account, or third-party statistic will always be available.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as CLIPWRK changes. Material updates may be communicated through the service or by other reasonable means.
